Podplomyk is a very popular dish baked from flour, salt and water in an oven.  And by the time bread has been done, we have baked podplomyki, the greatest attraction.

 

We shape the dough into thin, flat circles and sprinkle them with salt and poppy seeds.
      

Meanwhile, Mr Dudys is poking at the embers to light a fire in the oven. By means of pomiotlo he cleans the part of the oven where podplomyki will be baked. We put bread circles on the wooden shovel and then Mr Dudys puts it into the oven.
