Harvest festival

Plon niesiemy, plon
w gospodarza dom.”

(
‘crop, we are carrying crop,to the landlords home’)

The ceremonial cutting of the last ears of grain and the solemn carriage of a coronet to the landlords home, linked often with a great party. This is a harvest festival.

The symbolical harvesting crop has the form of a coronet made of grain, in the shape of a crown made of four tangled handles tied at the top.

The festivities begin with a harvest festival mass. In the church people donate first crops. After the mass a procession lead by the festival foremen is being carried on.
